This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information Bargold Storage Systems, LLC ("Bargold") and our affiliates, subsidiaries, or otherwise controlled entities (unless they have published their own privacy policy) collects, uses, shares, and stores, and your choices of what gets stored for your convenience, when you visit our website, use our online payment portal, use our mobile application, rent a storage unit, or otherwise engage with us online or offline (collectively our "Services"). Bargold may collect information from users of our websites at www.bargold.com and www.BargoldStorage.com (the “Websites”). We hope this will help you make an informed decision about sharing personal information with us.

What Information We Collect

  • Bargold’s servers and other logging devices automatically record certain device information when you visit our website including the URLs requested, IP address, ports, protocols, commands entered, browser type, language, and the date and time of your request.
  • Bargold collects and stores your name, address, email address, phone number, Bank ACH routing and account information, and Driver’s license, state issued ID, or other form of identification via our electronic leasing application (the “Account Information”).
  • All connections to Bargold Websites and Services are secured with encrypted connections. ACH information and user created passwords are encrypted during transmission and stored in an encrypted format.
  • Bargold may also collect personally identifiable information via hard copy format in cases where digital information cannot be obtained.

What we do not collect

Bargold does not collect any other personally identifiable information in connection with our Services not already detailed herein.

Additional Data Collection Through Webflow Hosting on BargoldStorage.com

BargoldStorage.com is hosted on Webflow, and Webflow may collect, use, and share certain data as set forth in their privacy policy located at https://webflow.com/legal/privacy. As a result, additional data collection may occur when visiting the BargoldStorage.com site, including:

  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Webflow may use essential cookies for website functionality and analytics tools to gather aggregated user data (e.g., page visits, duration, and interactions). While we do not sell your information, third-party services integrated into Webflow may collect data to enhance website performance and user experience.
  • Form Submissions: If you submit forms via our website (e.g., contact forms, inquiries), Webflow temporarily stores this information before forwarding it securely to us.
  • Analytics & Performance Monitoring: Webflow and third-party services (such as Google Analytics) may track website usage to help us improve site functionality and user experience. Please consult Google’s Privacy Policy regarding the Analytics services here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. This tracking may include anonymized IP addresses, browser details, and geographic data. This information is not used for Targeted Advertising.

How we use your data

  • We use personal information to facilitate the billing and provisioning of the Services you’ve requested.
  • We may also use personal information for auditing, research and analysis of our processes and systems to improve Bargold technologies and Services.
  • Upon registering for our Services and/or logging onto our servers, we take additional steps to associate the IP address, and your activities while on our servers, to your personal information tied to your Bargold account for security and auditing purposes.
  • Bargold uses Collections Acquisition Company Inc. dba Payliance as our payment processor for ACH payments and shares only the information required to process ACH payments. Their privacy policy outlining how they handle your personal data can be found here https://payliance.com/privacy-policy/
  • For third-party managed clients, Bargold uses OpenEdge Payments, LLC d/b/a Global Payments Integrated to facilitate PCI compliant payment card payments.   • Bargold does not accept payment cards of any kind for its Services with the exception of sites we manage on the behalf of third-party owners. Payment card data is stored by our payment card processor with Bargold storing a tokenized representation of card information.
  • We may also share information with other professional third-parties in very limited circumstances, including in compliance with law enforcement, legal process or order, to prevent fraud or imminent harm, and to ensure the security of our network and services.
  • Bargold does not use cookies for targeted advertising, nor do we sell any information to third parties.
  • Bargold processes and stores data on servers located in the United States only.

Your Choices

  • When you register for Services with Bargold, and choose to pay your bill online, you must create and save a strong password to access account history and facilitate payments. You have the option of enabling Multi Factor or Two Step authentication in addition to your password. You may simply use the link included with your e-bill and enter your payment information only as well.
  • You may decline to provide requested personal information; however, we will not be able to provide our Services without the mandatory information outlined in this document, including the Account Information.
  • You have the choice, and are encouraged, to periodically review your personal information for accuracy upon request by calling (718) 247-7000 Ext 123. You may update or correct anything found to be inaccurate and/or have information deleted entirely, whenever appropriate and possible.
